My name is Ashley and I am marrying into the Chow family. Not only are they Cantonese, but both of my fiancé’s parents grew up in Cuba. This blog is my way of learning about their culture and history through food to be closer to them and to be able to pass on the traditions to my future children. I’m also on a mission to veganize these classic dishes and make them healthy so we can all enjoy them together. I’ve been plant based for one year and still learning!
